Talking about her debut children’s wear line with Gap Kids, McCartney says, “We’re a designer brand doing kids’ clothes, so surely you just want to take key pieces and shrink them down.” The kids collection includes little replica’s of her womens-wear jumper dresses from A/W 2009 show, and other ‘grown-up’ pieces including military jackets and delicate dusky pink dresses.

The collection is looking super cute, specially the military jacket! Her collection for kids will be available in Gap stores in the UK, Japan, France, the U.S. and Canada. Line includes items like super soft cashmere blankets for newborns, brushed cotton blazers with silk lapels, Fair Isle sweaters, and wool military jackets. Many of the looks are versatile enough to be worn by either boys or girls and is budget-friendly. Prices ranges from $14.00 for wool leggings to $128.00 for jackets.

No doubt, this is a very fashion-forward collection, indeed. Through designing with sports brands and high street stores, McCartney is making her high-end designer wears available at really affordable prices and that’s really good!!
