Third day of Paris Fashion week witnessed great artistic work by top names such as Elie Saab, Jean Paul Gaultier and Valentino. Jean Paul Gaultier yet again amazed everyone with gauchos, sombreros, striped peasant blankets, Spanish shawls, and cigars, that flaunted on runway. Jean Paul Gaultier spring 2010 collection was inspired from an exhibition about Moctezuma, the Aztec emperor and Avatar’s tribal- eco message.

Presentation of theme was larger than life. Gaultier’s models were parading in fringed and silver-studded denim, bra-top feathered dresses and ball gowns woven in manner of peasant baskets. Jean Paul Gaultier successfully turned his spring/summer 2010 haute couture collection into a Mexican fiesta in Paris with songs by the Peruvian soprano, Yma Sumac, and the veteran salsa singer, Luis Marino.
