Do you feel hungry after short intervals? Are you a snack habitual? Is your urge to eat is becoming stronger day by day? Don’t worry folks, here are some special yet simple tips to resolve these dilemmas. Check them out!!

1. Rather than having massive meals thrice a day, eat simple and smaller quantity of food at short intervals to keep your urge satisfied.

2. Eat slowly by chewing every bite 25-30 times, as our brain takes 15 minutes to send “No more Hungry” message. By doing this, we’ll keep our mouth busy for longer time and will feel full by eating a small amount.

3. Drink lots of water to keep the stomach full. Warm water after a fatty or huge meal can really help to burn down calories faster. Instead of drinking cold drinks, prefer to drink fruit and vegetable juices because it will not only trench hunger but also provide essential nutrients to our body.

4. Researches have proven that stomach is not responsible to raise the urge to eat, but a specific location in brain called “Satiety Center”, which is very sensitive to smell and taste. We can control our urge to overeat by sniffing certain scents of food to enable brain-stomach connection and generate the “feeling full” signal.

5. Dislodge chocolates, sweets, and cakes from the kitchen. Because, if these are available you’ll definitely eat them. Fiber-rich foods like oats, barley, raw vegetables, fruits and other whole grains are very easy to digest and contains less calories rather than junk food.

6. Find some new hobbies and activities, which will keep you dynamic and active, and will help in reducing boredom and temptation to overeat. By opting cooking as a hobby, you can learn to make different nutritious and calorie-conscious dishes.

7. It’s often said that by eating a chewing gum and keeping the mouth busy, abates urge to eat more. So, whenever you feel hungry after a few minutes or an hour of taking a meal, just chew a chewing gum. It will really help you out!

8. Prepare a Calorie-chart to count the calories you have taken per day. It helps to maintain a healthy standard for eating.

9. Do not eat while watching TV and reading books. It’s often seen that people start eating while watching a movie and kids eat while they’re doing their homework. That’s not good at all! Because at that time we’re not aware about our necessity and keep on eating and eating…

10. Last but not least, Physical exercises and Meditation are always beneficial in controlling the hunger. Edward Stanley has truly said that, “Those who think they have no time for healthy eating will sooner or later have to find time for illness.”

Hope, these tips will help you to control your urge to eat more!! So, eat well, live well!!

OPI Suede Nail Polish Collection Fall 2009

OPI recommends not to use any base coat, top coat, drying drops or hand creams when wearing these nail polishes just like in Matte Collection. OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann says, “Suede by OPI elevates nails to a new dimension of fashion, as exciting as pair of stiletto-heeled suede pumps.”

She adds that rich suede look is stunning complement to fall fashions, and is meant for woman who is confident about her style and wants to stand out. Suede by OPI doesn’t wear as long as original OPI Nail Lacquer, but it’s a totally original look you’ll want to own this season!

Let’s have a quick review on the shades.

Russian Navy Suede: It’s a very beautiful navy blue matte with shimmer originally from the Russian collection fall/winter 2007. But it’s not much of a resemblance to the original!

You Don’t Know Jacques Suede: Originally from La Collection De France fall/winter 2008. This shade looks less grey and more golden brown than the original.

Lincoln Park After Dark Suede: Lincoln Park After Dark Suede, has been originally from Chicago collection fall/winter 2005. Again, this looks really nothing like original Lincoln Park After Dark. It’s a matte eggplant with outrageous shimmer and looks really gorgeous.

Suzi Skis In The Pyrenees Suede: Basically from La Coleccion de Espana fall/winter 2009, this one is a matte charcoal grey instead of a smoky blue like the original. This shade looks especially nice matte, though it’s not quite like ManGlaze Fuggen Ugly.

OPI Ink Suede: Originally from Night Brights collection spring/summer 2007, this nail polish looks almost nothing like original OPI Ink. This is the case with all polishes in this collection.

We’ll Always Have Paris Suede: This nail polish is from La Collection de France, fall/winter 2008. This has been beautifully translated into Suede just like kind of a soft purple rose with lots of shimmer. Love the contrast between traditional shade and non-traditional finish.

They all are Rocking!!
